Poland - Sewage treatment plant construction work

Description

The subject of the contract is design, construction or reconstruction along with commissioning of facilities and installations at the Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant in Jelenia Góra. The works will be carried out on the active facility. The Contracting Authority shall hold a valid water permit for the discharge of treated wastewater, the conditions of which shall be observed. The Ordering Party requires that during the performance of the contract the Contractor conducts his works in such a way as not to cause exceeding the acceptable parameters in the wastewater discharged to the receiver. Characteristic values adopted in the concept for the dimensioning of technological objects: Mean daily flow - 25 000 m3/d; maximum inflow to the sewage treatment plant during rainy weather 4 200 m3/h; maximum inflow to the biological part during rainy weather 3 250 m3/h. Planned scope of contract JG-PR-2018-1 pn. "Modernization of the Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant in Jelenia Góra - Stage III, Part 1" includes, but is not limited to, the following objects:a) composting plant - installation of pneumatic transport of chopped straw together with a straw crusher, local extractions, air scrubber, adaptation of the existing ventilation system of the biocomposting hall to the biofilter connection; construction of the ventilation system of the hall for storing compost and extractions from centrifuge casings; ventilation of the conveyor room; installation of air conditioning in social and technical rooms;b) horizontal sandbox, longitudinal blown, 2 chambers, with scrapers and cover, c) flotation pumping station from the sandbox, d) preliminary settling tank - conversion of a circular settling tank into a rectangular, 4 chambers, with scrapers and cover;e) floating body pumping station; f) building of rare gratings, including connected external networks and chambers KR1 and KR2; g) social building with a boiler room (using the installation of an existing temporary boiler room); h) ob.221A, 22/2A, 22/3A, 22/3A, 22/4A - secondary sludge collection chambers, i) two-stage biofilters with biological and sorption bed, preceded by air washer for biocomposters, compost and centrifuge storage hall;(j) Biological and sorption bedded two-stage biofilters for rare gratings and pumping stations for raw wastewater, dense gratings and pumping stations for pre-sediment, sand trap, pre-sedimentary settling tank and sludge tanks (k) River basin station building (l) Upgrade of existing bioreactor (Vol. 20/2) and new equipment (fine bubble aeration system; submersible agitators; horizontal propeller pump for internal recirculation R-I; vertical propeller pumps for recirculation R-II; (m) necessary internal installations for buildings under construction or reconstruction, external networks and connections, and communication routes; (n) SCADA.The contract is based on the FIDIC Contract Terms and Conditions - "Contract Terms and Conditions for equipment and design and construction for electrical and mechanical equipment and engineering and construction works designed by the contractor", 4th English-Polish edition unchanged 2008 with errata (translation of 1st edition 1999), FIDIC/SIDiR
