Description

The subject of the order is collection and management of municipal waste from properties where residents reside and from properties where holiday cottages are located or from other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, located on the territory of Zgierz municipality in a manner ensuring achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods, and reduction of the mass of biodegradable municipal waste sent to landfill.
(1) The subject of the order is to collect and manage municipal waste from properties where residents reside and from properties where there are summer cottages or from other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, located on the territory of Zgierz municipality in a manner ensuring the achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods and reduction of the mass of biodegradable municipal waste transferred to landfill. (2) The Contractor, within the scope of service provision, is obliged to operate from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 a Point for Selective Collection of Municipal Waste (hereinafter referred to as PSZOK), to which waste will be transferred from properties where residents reside and from properties where there are summer cottages or from other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, located in the Zgierz municipality. PSZOK will accept free of charge the following fractions of municipal waste paper, metals, plastics, glass, multi-material packaging waste and bio-waste, hazardous waste, expired medicines and chemicals, waste not qualifying as medical waste generated in the household as a result of receiving medicinal products by injection and monitoring the level of substances in blood, especially needles and syringes, used batteries and accumulators, used electrical and electronic equipment, furniture and other bulky waste, used tires, construction and demolition waste from households, and textile and clothing waste. Collection is to take place at the PSZOK operated by the contractor in a manner that ensures easy access. The PSZOK is to operate, throughout the term of the contract, except for holidays and non-working days, from Monday to Friday, during the following hours:a) in the period from April to October: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Saturdays from 08:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.b) in the period from November to March: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturdays from 08:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.3. The subject of the contract includes the collection and management of municipal waste and the provision of bags for selectively collected waste and bio-waste to property owners. It is understood as collection in any quantity of waste made available from containers or bags displayed in front of the property, by the roadside or from recesses in the fence - pergola; collection in any quantity taking into account the limits contained in the Resolution of the Zgierz Municipality Council No. LV/600/22 of August 30, 2022, On the detailed manner and scope of providing services in the field of municipal waste collection from property owners and management of this waste, in exchange for the fee for municipal waste management paid by the property owner, in particular, the frequency of municipal waste collection from the property owner and the manner of providing services by points of selective municipal waste collection, delivered to the PSZOK waste coming from residential properties, from properties on which there are summer cottages or other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes, located within the administrative borders of the Zgierz Municipality. Provision of bags for segregated fractions will be on a bag-for-bag basis, unless the property owner reports a need for additional bags for particular fractions of selective waste. The Contractor undertakes to manage the collected municipal waste in accordance with applicable regulations.
