The services of the contractor (CO) comprise the basic services and the special services for construction logistics/logistics management in accordance with the AHO series of publications, Booklet No. 25 "Services for Construction Logistics" (as of March 2011) for civil engineering structures and traffic facilities with the involvement of further specialist planners involved in the measure for the modernization of the media supply. The respective partial or individual services are to be provided in accordance with the remaining planning for the respective HOAI service phases 1 to 8.
In the Southern Palatinate Barracks as well as in the former Air Force Material Depot (former LwMatDp) in Germersheim are stationed-the Air Force Training Battalion,-the Federal Armed Forces Service Center Zweibrücken, parts of Germersheim-other small service stations..Already in 2019, the need for the renewal of the media supply was determined. The focus in the area of the Southern Palatinate Barracks is on the accommodation/economy/teaching and sanitary areas. The building fabric is being fundamentally modernized primarily in this area, so that the existing media supply must be adapted or renewed accordingly. (Basis for this is the LBAK incl. all partial concepts.).These are in detail for civil engineering structures:-possibly adjustment of the barrier liberty-the connection of roads, ways and places is to be guaranteed-reorganization of the supply and disposal systems of the real estates-economical variant investigation whether complete removal of the old channels or (if necessary also partial) damming.-.The drinking water and extinguishing water networks are to be rebuilt as separate networks with a study of variants.Until the new media supply system is connected, the existing media technology systems remain in operation.Appropriate specialist planners are to be commissioned for the planning and monitoring of the respective HOAI service profiles.Construction logistics:In the construction logistics planning, it must be taken into account that the construction measure is part of the redevelopment of the southern Palatinate barracks and the conversion or adaptation of the infrastructure in the former LwMatDp Germersheim. This means that there are direct points of contact with the construction measures in the accommodation and functional area, sports and training area, technical area and storage and training area. Currently, 6 construction measures are being carried out and approx. 15 more are in the planning stage.Their respective, also partly parallel construction processes must be coordinated, agreed upon and taken into account in the logistics concept.In addition, military operations must continue to be possible during the entire measure in addition to the other construction measures..Technical equipment:Sewage systems:Due to the restructuring of the property, parts of the current structure of the sewage network will be eliminated. New buildings in the southern area of the property will be connected to the network.The property is located entirely in the water protection area (Zone III)..Water systems:In the future, drinking water preparation will be decentralized in the buildings by means of a fresh water station via a drinking water network separate from the fire water supply. The necessary measures in the buildings are part of the project. The specialist department K 5 (fire protection) requires the construction of a new extinguishing water supply network. The existing hydrants are to be reinstalled..Outdoor facilities, miscellaneous:Encroachments on green areas are to be avoided. The laying of pipelines will take place primarily directly along traffic areas or existing media routes, so as not to hinder the future use of unsealed areas for construction projects and planting of trees and shrubs. Construction logistics: The installation of necessary construction sites / construction site facilities and construction site access roads are generally only permitted on paved areas. It is not possible to temporarily store larger quantities of soil on the construction site for sampling; a disposal concept must be developed and coordinated with the responsible authorities. If necessary, direct transport to an appropriate site for sampling is possible. Pollution is to be expected. In this context, the transport routes and waiting areas for trucks must also be taken into account.Expected dates:- Start of construction: 10/2025- Completion: 09/2028
