Description

The object of planning is the energetic renovation of the outer facade of the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection, Rosenkavalierplatz 2, 81925 Munich. The 8-storey building block with basement, built in 1968 in reinforced concrete skeleton construction, encloses a rectangular inner courtyard and is vertically accessible via four staircases and elevator cores lying in the corners. The outer appearance is divided horizontally by a change between window hinges made of light metal construction and parapet hinges made of reinforced concrete. Originally, the facade was clad with a 4 cm thin external insulation and a curtain-type natural stone slab cladding of shell limestone. During an initial renovation in 2001 and 2004, the facade insulation was renewed and the shell limestone slabs were replaced by perforated sheet cladding. The main component of the current planning task (energetic renovation) is the renewal of all window elements of the primary exterior facade, from the ground floor to the 6th floor. The windows, built in 1968, consist of thermally non-separated aluminium profiles with double insulating glazing. To avoid damaging the existing component connections during removal (plus avoiding dust, noise and shortening the installation time), the existing window frames are not completely dismantled. For the exchange only the folds are cut off. Highly insulating intermediate layers (Thermostopp) are inserted between the existing inventory frames and the new frame profiles. To further improve energy efficiency, the solid components in the inner connection area (side and top) are clad with thermal insulation layers and gypsum plasterboard. The new windows consist of thermally separated aluminium profiles with 3-fold glazing. The existing sunblind protection cannot be maintained and must also be renewed. There is a feasibility study available, therefore the present planning order begins only with the achievement phase 3, draft planning in accordance with § 34 HOAI. Further planning (from performance phase 3) therefore builds on this study, so this contract component and award document within the meaning of § 29 VgV and is available on the platform. For further information see Annex A - Task description and Annex E - Feasibility study. The scope of planning thus amounts to work phases 3 to 9 in accordance with § 34 HOAI (without work phase 4) in the form of gradual call-off (see also Section II.2.11).
