Description
SFS 1733 Fulda-Würzburg - BÜW according to VV-Bau and VVBau-STE.
The measures listed below are subject of the construction supervision service:- permanent way measures (renewal and rehabilitation of the permanent way, tracks and switches),- switch pre-assembly (pre-assembly locations: Karlsruhe/Butzbach/Baufeld),- related measures on the technical installations of the track, e.g. Signalling systems (track switching equipment, track vacancy detection systems), LZB (outdoor facilities), overhead line systems, earthing systems, point heating systems,- replacement of existing point machines incl. cabling,- replacement and renewal of point heating systems,- cable laying work,- replacement of the main cables and stub cables accompanying the track incl. Replacement of the track vacancy detection technology in the outdoor and indoor installations (conversion from FTGS to axle counting technology),- Adjustment of the indoor installations of the signal boxes and their power supply,- Adjustment of the ZN/ZL installations,- Adjustments to the indoor installations in the course of the LZB migration (Fulda, Burgsinn),- Cutting free, preparation, operation and dismantling of the construction site installation and provision areas and the associated access routes,- Cable management,- Calling up the cables (and the corresponding access routes),- Replacement of the existing switchgear and the track heating systems,- Replacement and renewal of the point heating systems,- Cable laying work cable management - call-off of cables (e.g. LZB/STE) - incoming goods inspection including documentation of all materials provided by the client (superstructure materials and STE materials), including quality assurance by the construction supervisor - various maintenance measures - follow-up work such as DUA tamping and new layer grinding - these measures are described in detail below.1.1.1 Track superstructureDB Netz AG intends to rehabilitate the 1733 high-speed line (SFS) in 2022 in the section between Fulda and Würzburg. A comprehensive renewal of the track superstructure is to take place on the line with renewal of points and rails, including the resulting accompanying work on control and command and signalling systems, on lines 1733, 5214, 5215 and 5216. A full closure period of 128 days for the Würzburg to Burgsinn section and 184 days for the Burgsinn to Fulda section is available (see Annexes 01.00.04 BauKapa application/start: 10.6.2022). The services of this tendering package include the overall responsibility for construction supervision for all measures of the tendering package BAU SFS 1733 RA 3a. This includes all preliminary, follow-up and related work of these measures and construction contracts. The description of the construction measures is enclosed in the annexes 01.00.01 - 01.00.09. The scope of services also includes supplementary management (Annex 01.06).Planned scope of repair:- Track renewal, 165,602 m, of which 58,485 m SE2.1.1.2. control and safety systemsa) Interconnection work within the framework of the permanent way measuresReplacement of FTGSTrack vacancy detection technology FTGS is retained in the control areas of Stw. Fulda (km 238,900/switch 103 - 239,721) and Würzburg (km 322,593 - 326,590). The existing track circuits will be removed, secured, stored laterally and reinstalled after completion of the permanent way (after completion of the permanent way welding). The work will be completed, including the acceptance tests and commissioning, by 24.9.2022 (BA1 - Burgsinn-Würzburg) / 15.11.2022 (BA2 - Fulda-Burgsinn) (start of loading runs). Line manager As part of the superstructure measure, the existing line manager will be removed and, after completion of the superstructure, re-laid, installed and accepted (see below for further details). The crossing points of the line conductor are to be documented by the Contractor Construction (in accordance with DB AG regulations) and monitored by the Contractor. Cable routing systems The concrete cable ducts in the existing building will continue to be used. Cable troughs that are not in the correct position will be straightened or removed and reinstalled. Cable laying workNew master and branch cables will be laid as part of the installation of the axle counting technology. Here the construction supervision must carry out the cable supervision incl. an extensive documentation (according to valid regulations of the DB AG).cable managementThe Contractor takes over the call-off of the cables with sufficient lead time (among other things LZB/STE) and the coordination of the delivery as well as possible disposal of old materials in agreement with the Construction Contractor. The Contractor shall also be responsible for incoming goods inspection including documentation of all materials provided by the Principal, including quality assurance.- Renewal of 72 turnouts and 17 rail extractsof which: 2 turnouts with r = 7000/6000 m28 turnouts with r = 2500 m26 turnouts with r = 1200 m2 turnouts with r = 500 m14 turnouts with r = 300 mConversion method:- Assembly line method with use of GMTGrober construction sequence:- Laying of construction track,- ballast cleaning (simultaneous use of 2 BRM),- unloading of new rails/loading of old rails,- track renewal/switch renewal,- ballast and tamping,- rail welding,- LZB - installation,- DUA tamping and grinding of new layers,- lifting of construction track.The SiGeKo performance as well as environmental construction supervision will be put out to tender separately.b) Conversion of the track vacancy detection technology from FTGS to axle counting technologyThe track switching equipment of the track vacancy detection will be converted from FTGS to axle counters in the predominant adjustment ranges. The dismantling of the FTGS is carried out by AN BAU. The installation of the axle counters is carried out by the signaling companies. The conversion area begins at km 238,900 in the Fulda South station and ends at km 322,593 at the transition to the setting area of the Würzburg station and extends to the setting areas of Hartberg, Landrücken Nord, Landrücken Süd, Mottgers, Altengronau, Dittenbrunn, Burgsinn, Mühlberg, Rohrbach, Hohe Wart and Espenloh/Neuberg.The following work will be carried out by the signalmanufacturing companies commissioned:- Work in the interior installations (before and during the conversion lockout period),- Determination of the micro-points for the individual axle counters on the track (after the superstructure welding work),- Installation of the axle counting technology on the track incl. The work will be completed by 24.9.2022 (BA1 - Burgsinn-Würzburg)/15.11.2022 (BA2 - Fulda-Burgsinn) (start of loading runs), including acceptance tests and commissioning.At the same time, work will be carried out at the LZB control centres (see below).The following measures will be carried out in connection with the modification of the axle counting technology and shall be monitored by the CO:RSTW Fulda:- Adaptation/retrofitting of the inside interlocking system (Thales/Siemens),- adaptation of the power supply.RSTW Hartberg:- Adaptation/retrofitting of the inside interlocking system (Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection of FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Landrücken Nord:- Adaptation/conversion of the inside interlocking system (Thales)- Adaptation of the power supply,- Conversion of the track vacancy detection from FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- Cable laying work.RSTW Landrücken Süd:- Adaptation/conversion of the interlocking system inside (Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection system from FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Mottgers/Altengronau:- Adaptation/conversion of the inside of the interlocking (Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection of FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Dittenbrunn:- Adaptation/conversion of the inside of the interlocking (Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection of FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Burgsinn- Adaptation/conversion of the interlocking system inside (Siemens/Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection from FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Mühlberg:- Adjustment/conversion of the interlocking inside (Thales),- adjustment of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection of FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Rohrbach:- Adaptation/conversion of the inside of the interlocking (Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection from FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Hohe Wart:- Adaptation/conversion of the inside of the interlocking (Thales),- adaptation of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection from FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Espenloh/Neuberg:- Adjustment/conversion of the inside signal box (Thales),- adjustment of the power supply,- conversion of the track vacancy detection of FTGS track circuits to axle counting technology (installation of the axle counters outside),- cable laying work.RSTW Würzburg- Adaptation/retrofitting of the interlocking system inside the interlocking (Siemens/Thales),- adaptation of the power supply.c) Adaptation of train number signalling systems (TN systems)Due to the above-mentioned adaptation measures, the train number signalling systems (TN systems) will be adapted if necessary. The work shall take place exclusively in the indoor system.d) LZB migrationThe performance of the core network would be permanently impaired due to the discontinuation of the LZB L72 classic in Germany by the system manufacturer Thales and the resulting lack of availability. For this reason, it was decided at DB Netz AG's Head Office to migrate all affected LZB control centres and make them fit for the future.
