Description

Structural planning §51 HOAI LPH 1-6.
The City of Nuremberg intends to rebuild the vocational high school B13 on the former site of "Prinovis" and has therefore commissioned WBG Kommunal GmbH with the implementation of the measure in the name and on behalf of the City of Nuremberg.Property development:The existing site is currently still built on and has been divided into 3 sub-areas. The B13 will be built on sub-area 1, the current Prinovis car park. The site will be completely cleared by the start of construction in Q3 2022 and is free of contaminated sites and explosive ordnance. The B13 will be the first school building to be constructed on the site and must be completed by 2025 and open for business at the start of the 2025/26 school year. Further school buildings with sports halls will follow and will be planned as a school centre by the City of Nuremberg Hochbauamt. The future school center is to form a campus together with the B13, and the sports halls and the cafeteria will be shared. The school:The current B13 will be attended by 623 students in the school year 2020/2021. However, this number fluctuates from school year to school year. The B13 comprises grades 10, 11, 12 and 13.The following fields of education are offered at the B13:- Agricultural Economics-, Bio- and Environmental Technology (ABU),- Social Work,- Technology,- Business and Administration. The B 13 is an innovative technical secondary school and cultivates an open-minded approach to the challenges of our time. For this purpose, long-term and sustainable projects are initiated.Awards:- Fairtrade School,- Environmental School in Europe - International Sustainability School,- German Engagement Award "Meet a Yew",- KEIM - Keep Energy in Mind,- School without Racism - School with Courage.Requirements for the building:The building, space and open space concept for the B13 should - in addition to urban development and building management aspects - also be oriented towards the goals and requirements of the pedagogical concepts and the school profile. The building architecture and an innovative space and area arrangement should support the function as a place of learning and living and create a school area where young people, teachers, administrative and house staff feel comfortable throughout the school day.The staff (teachers, pedagogical and non-educational specialists) should be able to work, communicate and cooperate efficiently in the offered room and space structures. The planning guidelines of the City of Nuremberg apply to the planning of the measures. The room program contains all usage areas (4,037m2 NUF), but still without WC areas, technical and traffic areas.Requirements for the outdoor facilities: In the outdoor area, recreation and exercise areas are to be created for the pupils with the outdoor teaching area/school garden and with a "green classroom". The break areas in the outdoor area are to offer recreation and rest zones that are also visually recognisable and distinguishable as such. On the one hand, the break area must offer retreats for relaxation for students and teachers, but on the other hand it must also be manageable and accessible via sufficiently large escape routes in order to comply with supervisory obligations.Deadlines:It is imperative that the B13 is structurally completed by May 2025 and can commence use in September 2025, so that the existing B13 can move out of the current building. This means a very short planning, as well as construction, period to manage.
