The Abwasserzweckverband Mittleres Eckbachtal (AME) is planning the expansion of the Heßheim wastewater treatment plant and the conversion to the anaerobic sludge stabilization process.The plant is located between the cities of Grünstadt and Frankenthal near the Frankenthal freeway intersection (A61, A6) in Rhineland-Palatinate. The plant was commissioned in 2003 as a multi-line SBR plant for a nominal capacity of 31,000 PE. The current load is approximately 39,400 PE. During peak flows during the wine-growing campaign, peak loads of between 67,000 and 155,000 p.e. are measured.In order to increase the plant's own power generation and to relieve the biological wastewater treatment stage, the Heßheim wastewater treatment plant is to be converted to sludge digestion.The project is based on a potential study and an economic feasibility study, which are part of the award documents. With regard to the details of the measure, reference is made to the specifications, which are available for download.
The subject of this invitation to tender is Lot 2 - Planning services for structural design in work phases 1-6 in accordance with Section 51 HOAI.
