Description
The Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology (HPI) intends to purchase a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to replace a defective Philips XL30ESEM. The instrument shall be suitable for high resolution imaging in high vacuum mode as well as for operation in low vacuum mode (variable pressure) for the investigation of uncoated, non-conducting samples.
The Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology (HPI) intends to purchase a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to replace a defective Philips XL30ESEM. The instrument shall be suitable for high resolution imaging in high vacuum mode as well as for operation in low vacuum mode (variable pressure) for the examination of uncoated, non-conducting samples.The instrument to be offered shall conform to the specifications detailed below. The equipment described shall be offered as a complete unit with all necessary components and functional accessories, even if not specifically requested.The equipment described should be designed in such a way that apparative extensions can be easily added.The warranty should be at least 24 months from the date of delivery of the equipment.The bidder shall satisfy himself of the technical requirements regarding installation and safe operation of the equipment before delivery.The equipment should be suitable for the requirements of routine operation in terms of ease of maintenance and susceptibility to faults.Instruction in operation should be provided at least once on site and should include, in addition to the theoretical basics, operation of the equipment and instruction in standard tests.Introductory training of at least 2 days should be included in the price.Technical service/support should be readily available and qualified.Please specify a binding delivery date.
