SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, building, maintaining and managing school properties in accordance with economic principles, taking into account school requirements, and of leasing the more than 400 schools to the Ministry of Schools and Vocational Training (BSB).

The roof of the assembly hall on the Hasselbrook school grounds is to be renovated to make it more energy-efficient.
As the auditorium is located in a listed building, the parts of the building to be refurbished are to be renovated in such a way that they visually match the existing building.
The refurbishment includes the renewal of the roof insulation including the necessary insulation, plumbing, sealing and drainage work on the main roof and the application of renovation waterproofing on the roofs of the adjacent stairwell and the equipment rooms.
The construction site installation area is accessible from Hasselbrookstraße for deliveries and construction site vehicles.
The following trades will be carried out as part of the planned measure:
- Scaffolding work
- Roofing and plumbing work
- Lightning protection work

- Demolition and disposal of the old roof structure including drainage
- Waterproofing and insulation of the roof surface
- Renewal of the roof drainage (gutter and downpipes)
- Delivery and installation of roof curbs
- Renewal of the roof underlays
