Description
This contract, which will take the legal form of a single-award framework agreement, covers the supply of electric and hydrogen dual-mode self-propelled railcars up to 59 m in length, to be used mainly on the lines of the French national rail network, as well as all associated services, in particular logistical support and rolling stock warranty.
The contract covers the supply of a maximum of 30 self-propelled railcars and associated services. These self-propelled railcars will be operated mainly on the lines of the French national rail network. The self-propelled railcars must be able to carry a minimum of 120 seated passengers, and be no more than 59 m long. They will feature a basic configuration capable of operating at a maximum speed of 160km/h, available in single-voltage 1.5 kV or dual-voltage 25 kV 50Hz AC and 1.5 kV DC versions, each complemented by a decarbonized hydrogen mode enabling operation at 140km/h with a minimum range of 600km. The basic configuration will be completed by the addition of one or more options from the options catalog, which will be described in the consultation documents. Logistical support services will be completed by exercising one or more options from the options catalog, which will be described in the consultation documents. These options include in particular:- A logistics service for the supply and delivery of maintenance parts, potentially to maintenance sites, combined with service rates,- An engineering service leading to the implementation of a predictive maintenance solution.The Contract provides for several subsequent contracts up to a maximum of 30 self-propelled vehicles.
