Canada - RFPQ-2425-25 - Supplementary Prequalification of Subcontractors for Sensitive Habitat Restoration Works

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  This Request for Prequalifications (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Region to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide the Deliverables to Projects in the role of a subcontractor to a general contractor. This RFPQ is a supplementary prequalification process, issued to augment the list of subcontractors already prequalified under RFPQ-1152-23. Accordingly, 2220742 Ontario Ltd. o/a Bronte Construction, Dynex Construction Inc. and QM Environmental – who are currently prequalified under RFPQ-1152-23 – continue to be prequalified to provide the Deliverables for the Projects in the role of a subcontractor to a general contractor and do not need to submit a response to this RFPQ.The Region has adopted the following procurement process to award the proposed contract for the Project:Step 1 – Prequalification of Subcontractors Establish a list of prequalified subcontractors who are eligible to provide the Deliverables for a Project in the role of a subcontractor to the general contractor (the “Prequalified Subcontractors”). All subcontractors prequalified under RFPQ-1152-23 and this RFPQ are deemed to be Prequalified Subcontractors.Step 2 –Competitive Procurement ProcessInvite contractors to participate as a general contractor in a formal procurement process for the Project.
