Description

Community: WhitehorseTraditional Territories: Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än CouncilThe scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Traffic Signal System-Modifications- Range Road/Alaska Highway #1 Intersection km 1425.5 and Wann Road/ Alaska Highway #1 at km 1435.1; mobilization/demobilization, traffic control;  load, haul, place and compact Granular “A” material;   Supply and install pre-cast or cast in place concrete pole base, mounting of traffic signal pole and vertical heads on the pole base for the southbound left turn lane; Supply and install pre-cast or cast in place concrete pad/base for uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and mount UPS cabinet on the concrete pad/base; construct open trenching for running new conduits/wiring and filling back the trenches  with bedding material, pulling wiring/cables through the existing conduits, supply and provide fixtures for connecting the wiring, conduits, junction boxes, and other relevant fixture needed to complete the work; Quality Control (QA), testing of concrete and soil density checks by nuclear densometer; Installing and activating the pre-emption systems; communications with utility companies, testing and commissioning of the traffic signal modifications, deficiencies rectification and environmental compliance.
