Description

Finavia grants possession of business premises at the Schengen airside and Non-Schengen of Helsinki Airport, to Operator(s) specializing in offering F&B atmosphere and F&B products. The tender consists of two (2) multi-unit Packages. The Packages are called “Schengen F&B Units” (Package A) and “Non-Schengen F&B Units” (Package B). Tenderer may offer on one of the Packages (Package A or Package B) or on both Packages (Package A and Package B) and can be awarded agreement on one or on both Packages A and B. The units shall be open to all potential customers during the joint opening hours of the commercial services at the airport. Both Packages A and B consist of one primary unit with high-capacity kitchen facilities supported by additional units to maximise the sales for the Operator(s) and the service level for passengers and other customers. Sharing a good location directly alongside customer routes and lively gate areas, both Packages serve a high volume of international and local clientele in the upgraded gate area. The premises are visible, easily accessible alongside passenger’s way to her gate, where streams of passengers can pause and enjoy a meal, drink or a refreshing cup of coffee in a welcoming and appealing environment. Excellent customer service provided by a highly skilled and dedicated staff and a pleasant ambiance and coherent design of the premises create additional value to customers and the area. Schengen F&B Units (Package A / Lot 1) The vision for Package A (Schengen F&B Units) is to offer especially to more local passengers F&B products, concepts and brands that they recognize with still being able to surprise the passengers on the offering overall and its high quality as well as trendiness. Located in the Schengen gate area 5-15 (formerly known as T1 Schengen), Schengen F&B Units serve a good volume of local and international clientele especially departing from the gate area in question. The combination of interesting concepts aims to offer customers popular and affordable cuisine enjoyed both on premises, and on-the-go. The Schengen F&B Units (Package A / Lot 1) consist of three premises out of which one shall be a multi-concept all-day restaurant, one shall be a branded café and one a last minute bar with some food offering. Main customer groups for these units are the departing passengers departing from the gate area 5-15. Other main customer groups include arriving passengers as well as people working in the airport area. As the gate area 5-15 is focusing more on the point-to-point traffic, there is a relatively more local customers visiting these units than in other parts off the gate areas of Helsinki Airport. Thus, recognizable but yet inspirational and trendy concepts and products are in demand for these locations. Excellent customer service provided by a highly skilled and dedicated staff and a coherent design of the premises create additional value to customers and the airport area overall. Package A shall be an impressive collection of appealing and in-demand concepts offering affordable products in the busy and unique hub that is Helsinki Airport. The tenderer shall show high competence, creativity, and understanding in serving the right products, product combinations and concepts to best fulfill customers’ needs. A skilled and dedicated restaurant staff creates a warm and professional ambience. Excellent customer service is one of the key objectives at Helsinki Airport. Therefore, the opening hours of restaurants throughout the airport are unified and Finavia shall be entitled to determine the opening hours. The Unit: Ref. of floor plans: 2023, 2027, 2051 Size: Approximately 819,2m2Schengen Airside The construction of the premises is planned to start Q1 2024 The opening date is planned to be Q2 2024 Non-Schengen F&B Units (Package B / Lot 2) Non-Schengen F&B Units consist of unique premises in key locations in the immediate vicinity of the Non-Schengen terminal’s passenger routes. Situated at the heart of the Non-Schengen passenger routes, Non-Schengen F&B Units serve a high volume international and local customers with relatively more international passengers than in other parts of the Helsinki Airport gate area. The aim of the premises is to create a welcoming and stylish spaces equipped with first- rate service and design at Helsinki Airport’s international Non-Schengen terminal. Tasty menus and high-quality customer service completed with inviting and coherent design of the premises create additional value for the customer and the airport area overall. Operating at the heart of the Non-Schengen terminal, the Non-Schengen F&B Units offer passengers a relaxed space to pause and enjoy a refreshment and meal while preparing for departure. The Non-Schengen F&B Units are a wide selection of attractive and interesting F&B products appealing to international and local customers. The Non-Schengen F&B Units (Package B / Lot 2) consist of three premises out of which one shall be a stylish all-day restaurant that takes dayparting outstandingly well into consideration, one shall be a highly recognizable branded QSR restaurant and one a last minute F&B outlet with high quality food and drinks offering. Main customer groups for these units are all departing Non-Schengen passengers. Other main customer groups include arriving passengers as well as people working in the airport area. As the Non-Schengen terminal is a hub of arriving departing and transferring passengers to international and long-haul destinations, there is a relatively more international customers visiting these units than in other parts off the gate areas of Helsinki Airport. Thus, stylish and high quality but yet inspirational concepts and products are in demand for these locations. Excellent customer service provided by a highly skilled and dedicated staff and a coherent design of the premises create additional value to customers and the airport area overall. Package B forms the heart of the F&B offering in the most central location of the Non-Schengen terminal. Thus an impressive collection of appealing and in-demand concepts and products shall be expected in the busy and unique hub that is Helsinki Airport Non-Schengen terminal.The tenderer shall show high competence, creativity, and understanding in serving the right products, product combinations and concepts to best fulfill customers’ needs.
