Description

UCC is inviting Expressions of Interests for Reserved Specialists for Dental Cabinetry & Clinical Skills Storage Systems . The project consists of the construction of a new circa 9,480m2, Dental education and research building. The building will be primarily used as a dental school with ancillary education, research and innovation facilities including a central sterile services department, roof top plant enclosure and support service areas. The Dental building will consist of 5 storeys with a combination of dental clinical spaces, minor surgery room, a Clean Disinfection Unit (CDU), teaching spaces, laboratories, office space, toilets, changing areas, store rooms, plant rooms, external facilities / FM yard, etc.

Lot 1 comprises installation of Dental Cabinetry comprising built-in bespoke cabinetry built around the dental chair location to meet the requirements of each dental process in accordance with the dentists operating methodology (142 Dental Chair Operatories).The new operatories will contain integrated wash hand basins and working dental sinks which are supplied and installed by the cabinetry suppliers. Services Integration. There will be specialist suppliers for the manufactured dental simulators, chairs, stools, delivery systems, and lights etc. which are to be coordinated by the cabinetry suppliers

Lot 2 comprises the Installation of Clinical Skills Equipment Storage Systems to provide continuous circulation of stock utilizing visual stock replenishment signaling system. The modular storage system must be based on ISO Standard 3394 with multiple cabinet options for drawer, cupboard and tambor door options suitable for hospitals and clinics. Drawer systems to be fitted with 110% telescopic pull-out and cupboard doors with 150 degree opening. The system to have laminated doors with rounded rounded edges and metal ironmongery
