Description

The subject of the tender is a scientific study on the development of a decentralised energy system in the Federal Republic of Germany with a focus on measures in Rhineland-Palatinate. Legal and organisational framework conditions as well as infrastructural consequences are to be investigated. The aim is to develop an optimised timetable for a decentralised energy supply system that can be used as a blueprint for the energy supply of the future on the basis of regenerative regional energies. It is necessary to deal with fundamental questions in the following areas:- Strengths and weaknesses of a stronger decentralisation of the German power-heat system,- inventory of decentralised concepts/approaches, technical developments and actor structures,- comparison and evaluation of economic costs and value-added effects in a cross-sectoral systemic view,- Exemplary optimisation on the basis of three supply structures (energy honeycombs) typical for Rhineland-Palatinate with regard to the size of the balancing group, combination of generation and consumption, illustration of how grid expansion can be avoided through cost-efficient, safe and intelligent processes,- Organisational framework conditions of a more decentralised power-heat system,- Infrastructural consequences of a more decentralised power-heat system.The description of tasks to be completed in the course of the forthcoming award procedure (see tender documents) represents a possible content design.
