PROJECT: REPAIR OF 8 BATHROOMS

OWNER: Office municipal d'habitation de Métabetchouan-Lac-à-la-Croix (OMHML)
The OMHML is requesting tenders for "the renovation of 8 bathrooms at 46, 52, 58 and 84 St-Basile Street and 3, 15, 17 and 18 St-Onge Street, Métabetchouan-Lac-à-la-Croix". The duration of the work will be approximately 4 weeks.
CONDITION: Only general or specialized contractors for this type of work with an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and holding the required licence under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) are eligible to bid.
Clearly identified bids will be placed in sealed envelopes and addressed to the undersigned at the following time and place:

Plans, summary specifications and contractual documents will be available on SEAO's website at www.seao.ca, at SEAO's rate.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified cheque for an amount equivalent to 5% of the value of the bid payable to the owner or a bid bond, established in the amount of 10% of the value of the bid, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the bid opening date, this bid bond must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a performance bond and a bond guarantee for pledges, materials and services. Where these guarantees are in the form of a guarantee, the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the contract price.
ENTREPRENEUR'S OBLIGATIONS: Tendering contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, with respect to their competence, solvency and the content of their bid. They must inform them of the conditions of the bid and ensure that they hold the required permits and licences.
The owner undertakes to retain the holder of the lowest compliant bid, unless it exceeds the planned budgets by too much. In the latter case, the owner reserves the right to modify the plans and return to bidding or abandon the project without prejudice to the bidders.
