VSat broadband data link for maritime satellite communication
Provision of a VSat broadband data link for maritime satellite communication for receiving and sending data as well as for voice telephony via the Internet for the fishing research vessels (FFS) "Solea" and "Walther Herwig III" as well as the fishery protection vessels (FSB) "Meerkatze", "Seeadler" and "Seefalke" operated by the customer for a period of three years (airtime contracts). Part of the three-year airtime contracts is also the provision of services in the form of technical support for necessary repairs and troubleshooting (by telephone, remotely and/or on site) by German-speaking and trained personnel of the Contractor as well as the guarantee of spare parts availability. In addition, the Contractor shall provide all hardware required for the technical implementation of the airtime contracts and shall be responsible for the installation, configuration and feeding of all hardware into the ship's plant (i.e. for the conversion of the ships). For all hardware, the Client shall be provided with German and/or English language operating instructions in electronic form (e.g. by e-mail).
