Netherlands - Rental of helicopters with crew

Description

The Royal Netherlands Air Force (KLu) is looking for a civil partner who can provide helicopter capacity including a captain. The captain must have a background as a military flight instructor with the Dutch Royal Netherlands Air Force or Dutch Royal Netherlands Navy. The captain must also have specific powers. The KLu has a flight programme to train the military helicopter crews as they can be deployed. Instead of using the military helicopters, the KLu wants to deploy civilian helicopter capacity for parts of this programme. The purpose of this tender is to contract a civil partner to provide this capacity for Instrument Flying Rules (IFR) training flights for military pilots and observers. The IFR training flights are flown in accordance with the flight specification supplied by the DHC, which applies to the IFR training flight in question. The IFR training flights are intended to keep the skills of the helicopter crews up to date (refreshment). It is estimated that approximately 200 flight hours are required per year divided over 130 flights.
