NOTICE OF TENDER FOR CALL FOR TENDERS
Construction work
The Office municipal d'habitation de Shawinigan, also known as the "project owner", is requesting tenders for the renovation of kitchens and replacement of floor coverings to be carried out in the building located at 555, 125 e rue, in the municipality of Shawinigan, under a fixed-price contract.
The duration of the work will be approximately five (5) weeks.
CONDITIONS: Only general contractors or contractors specializing in this type of work who have an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by that agreement, and who hold the required license under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) are authorized to bid.

SUBMISSION GUARANTEE: In the form of a bond by an authorized company, equivalent to :
10% of the bid amount or
a certified cheque, money order, bank draft payable to the applicant for the work (OMH Shawinigan) , an irrevocable letter of guarantee for the benefit of the said applicant or bearer bonds. Bonds payable to bearer must be issued or guaranteed by the Government of Quebec or the Government of Canada, and must mature in no more than five years. The value of these bonds must be equivalent to 5% of the bid amount and be valid for 60 days from the bid submission deadline. The guarantee must be attached to the bid.
CONTRACTOR'S OBLIGATIONS: Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, with regard to their competence, solvency and the content of their tender. They must inform subcontractors of the terms and conditions of the bid and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
CLOSING OF TENDERING PERIOD: Tenders must be submitted no later than 10:30 a.m. local time on April 2, 2024, at the location of the public tender opening meeting, i.e. at the offices of the Office municipal d'habitation de Trois-Rivières at 660, Hertel, Trois-Rivières (Québec) G9A 1G8.
The Office municipal d'habitation de Shawinigan is not obliged to accept the lowest or any of the bids received.
