Canada - Renovation and refitting for the relocation of research in pavilion D2

Subject of the invitation to tender :

With the aim of freeing up space in pavilion D2, the project consists of renovating and refitting a number of rooms located in 3 different pavilions of the Faculty of Science, namely pavilions D1, D4 and D5.

The premises affected by the construction work will accommodate research-related uses. Computer workrooms, research laboratories and multi-purpose rooms are just some of the spaces that will be created.

Brief description of options:

No options are included in the contract.

Contract duration:

3 months

Tender guarantee :

A bid bond corresponding to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount

Performance bond :

A performance bond and a contractor's obligation bond for pledges, materials and services equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount each.

Availability of tender document :

Tender documents are available from the SEAO electronic tendering system.

Submission of bids:

Only bids received by the time and date set for receipt of bids will be considered. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that documents are forwarded in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender documents.

Bid opening

Unless otherwise specified, the bid opening is Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Please refer to section 1.07 of the Régie document.

Site visit

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2024, 11:00 am. Please refer to section 1.02 of the Régie document.

Reserve :

The Université de Sherbrooke reserves the right, at the time of bid analysis, to refuse all bids submitted, even the lowest.
