The construction of a promenade structure including a viewing balcony and a wooden deck (waterfront) is planned over a length of approx. 600m. Due to the varying foundation over the length of the promenade, the promenade will be divided into the following sections:- Section 1 and 2, tied-back sheet pile wall and landside foundation piles- Section 3 and 4, foundation piles- Water square, foundation pilesFor the extension of the Fjord Promenade, explosive ordnance sounding and dismantling work will also be required in some cases.The work will mainly have to be carried out by floating equipment.
