Description

On the basis of the Act on the Regionalisation of Public Transport (Regionalisation Act) and the Act on Public Transport (ÖPNVG) of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, the City of Zweibrücken is the competent authority within the meaning of VO 1370/2007 and the public transport authority for the transport services of the Zweibrücken line bundle to be provided in Zweibrücken. The ZRN was entrusted with the implementation of competition procedures through an agreement with the city of Zweibrücken. In accordance with the Association's statutes and the agreement with the responsible bodies, the latter shall use VRN GmbH in the operational execution of the tasks assigned to it.(1) The object of this award is to provide the local bus passenger transport services (BPNV) in the area of responsibility of the grantor which are necessary to ensure adequate transport services.(2) The services to be awarded shall be provided on the following lines:Service module A1 contains the lines:- line 221 Rimschweiler - Ixheim - city centre - main station - Gleiwitzstraße,- line 222 Hengstbach - Mittelbach - Ixheim - city centre - Globus - Europaring,- line 223 Wattweiler - Beckerswäldchen - city centre - Kaiserstraße - Buben-hausen,- line 224 Pasteurstraße (Fasanerieberg) - city centre - Otterstein (Niederauer-bach),- line 225 J.-F.-Kennedy-Straße (Niederauerbach) - City centre - Pasteurstraße (Fasanerieberg) - (Airport/The Style Outlets),- Line 226 Kreuzberg (Fachhochschule) - Central Station - City centre - Airport/The Style Outlets,- Line 228 Stadtmitte(ZOB)-Terex-Europaring-Fuchslöcher-,- Line 229 Gleiwitzstraße (Langental) - Ixheim - City centre - Europaring (Ernst-weiler) - Wolfsloch (Bubenhausen).Power module A2 contains the lines:- Line 221KB Rimschweiler - Ixheim - City Centre - Central Station - Gleiwitzstraße,- Line 222KB Hengstbach - Mittelbach - Ixheim - City Centre - Globus - Europaring,- Line 223KB Wattweiler - Beckerswäldchen - City Centre - Kaiserstraße - Buben-hausen,- Line 224KB Pasteurstraße (Fasanerieberg) - City Centre - Otterstein (Niederauer-bach),- Line 226KB Kreuzberg (Fachhochschule) - Central Station - City Centre - Airport/The Style Outlets.
