Description
The public bus service in the Principality of Liechtenstein connects the Liechtenstein towns with each other and connects stations near the border in Switzerland and Austria. Contractors are used to operate the service, providing all the services necessary to carry out the regular service.
The object of the contract is the provision of transport services in the public national and cross-border local passenger transport by bus in the Principality of Liechtenstein.the tendered service comprises the timetable offer in regular bus transport including sidecar services for amplification and group trips, among others on the lines 11-14, 21, 24, 31-37E, N1-N4, individual trips on line 410 as well as additional services required for this purpose.the tendered service includes all operational aspects of the corresponding transport services. This includes in particular:- the operational management of the scheduled services incl. vehicle scheduling, vehicle and personnel deployment planning, personnel management, training and further training of personnel, operational quality management;- vehicle procurement, parking, repairs, maintenance, cleaning;- procurement and operation of computer-based control system (AVL) incl. passenger information system, ticket sales, bus prioritisation etc. The tendered service comprises the implementation of the timetable offer in regular bus services including sidecar services for amplification and group trips on the route 22 Triesenberg-Gaflei, for which at least one vehicle is required. The tendered service includes the execution of the on-call bus services on the line 26 Schaan-Planken. These trips take place from Monday to Saturday in the evening after 18.30 h. At least one vehicle is required. The tendered service includes the lines "SchaanB Schaanwald-Malbun" and "C Balzers-Malbun", which normally start on Christmas or on the weekend before Christmas if Christmas Eve falls on a working day. Each winter season ends in mid-March (normally on St. Joseph's Day).the order covers five years and thus five winter seasons.at least two vehicles are required for the order.
