Description

Provision of transport services for the general public in local public passenger transport (local rail passenger transport) including associated ancillary services on the railway infrastructure of DB Netz AG and DB Station&Service AG, award of the transport services on the "Warnow II subnetwork" with approx. 1.9 million train km p.a. from the timetable change 12/2024 (annual timetable 2025) and 3.4 million train km p.a. from the timetable change 12/2026 (annual timetable 2027).
The following lines and line sections are planned for award:Transport services in electric traction (E-network): Provision from the timetable change 12/2024 (annual timetable 2025) on the Rostock S-Bahn with the lines S1 Rostock Hbf - Warnemünde, S2 Warnemünde - Schwaan - Güstrow and S3 Warnemünde - Laage - Güstrow, individual services Rostock - Ribnitz-Damgarten; service volume approx. 1.9 million train km p.a. over a period of 15 timetable years.Transport services in hybrid traction (use of electric battery hybrid vehicles, H-network): Provision from the timetable change 12/2026 (annual timetable 2027) in the Rostock hinterland with the lines RB11 Wismar - Rostock - Tessin and RB12 Bad Doberan - Rostock - Graal-Müritz; individual services Rostock - Ribnitz-Damgarten, service volume approx. 1.5 million train km p. a. The service provision for both network parts E-network and H-network ends uniformly at the European timetable change in December 2039.The planning of the vehicle requirements is based on vehicle fleets with 55 cm to 60 cm boarding height, for the E-network on a new and/or used vehicle fleet and for the H-network on a new vehicle fleet. The awarding authority offers to assume the risk of reuse of new vehicles after expiry of the transport contract to be awarded under certain conditions and to issue a reuse guarantee.
