Provision of transport services for public transport (local rail passenger transport) including ancillary services on the railway infrastructure of DB Netz AG and DB Station&Service AG, award of contracts for the "Baltic Sea Coast II subnetwork" (Rostock - Stralsund - Rügen/Züssow) from 12/2021
The timetable change for the annual timetable 2022, 1st day of operation 12.12.2021, is planned as the date of commencement of operations for the "Baltic Sea Coast II" subnetwork. The timetable change for the annual timetable 2035, last day of operation vs. 9.12.2034, is planned as the end of operation. The following line or route sections are planned for allocation in the subnetwork: allocation of services for the "Baltic Sea Coast II subnetwork" (Rostock - Stralsund - Rügen/Züssow) with approx. RE9 Rostock Central Station - Stralsund Central Station - Sassnitz/Baltic Sea Resort Binz (2-h basic cycle Rostock - Stralsund Central Station, extensive compression of cycles to 1-h cycle).RE10 Rostock Central Station - Stralsund Central Station - Züssow, which compresses the 2 hour basic cycle Rostock - Stralsund of the RE9 and the 2 hour cycle of the RE3 Stralsund - Pasewalk (Berlin) to Züssow to a 1 hour cycleVehicles:The fleet of seven Desiro ML vehicles of the manufacturer Siemens procured by the current contractor is to be used to provide the transport services. The vehicles were first registered as three-car electric multiple units in 2020. The conversion of the vehicles into four-part electric multiple units will take place in 2020 and 2021. The age of the vehicles is less than 2 years at the time of the start of operation.The above-mentioned vehicles must be used for the provision of the transport services owed. For this purpose, the future contractor must enter into a leasing agreement (the "Usage Agreement") concluded between the current operator ODEG - Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH and the lessor Alphta Trains OSK S.à .r.l. for the duration of the transportation contract. At the same time, the future contractor is obliged to enter into a tripartite agreement between itself, the State and the lessor, which will ensure the continuous use of the vehicles until December 2034 in the event of premature termination of the local transport contract.lots:According to the information provided on lots under item II.1.6), no lot formation (partial lots) is envisaged.term:The term of the contract for the "Baltic Coast II" subnetwork will be 13 years.
