DAK-Gesundheit intends to evaluate the activities of corporate communications by means of a comprehensive media response analysis. The results and analyses are needed for controlling and success monitoring. The areas of press and online media are to be monitored, evaluated and analyzed in an overall solution from April 1, 2022. The structure of an existing procedure for media resonance analysis in the areas of press and online is to be continued.
All press publications as well as publications in specified online media must be evaluated via a media resonance analysis (exceptions are announcements about DAK-Gesundheit consultation hours, opening hours or pension consultation days, which are NOT recorded and evaluated). The analysis requires a specific evaluation according to federal states, defined main topics and the tendency of the reporting, which furthermore enables a direct access to the corresponding article or to the text passage with mention of the DAK Health. The analysis portal is to be updated 1x per week. (There is a detailed codebook for the media resonance analysis of the previous service provider, which also provides the analysis results of the past four years to the new contractor).The main topics can be changed, shortened and extended by DAK Health at any time. The DAK-Gesundheit press office and the regional press spokespersons (RPS) need monthly evaluations in order to monitor developments nationwide and in the individual federal states or regions and to be able to control press work in a targeted manner. The advertising equivalent value and the coverage of the individual articles and the overall publications must also be presented in order to be able to additionally evaluate the quality of the DAK articles. All online publications from the defined online media are included in the monthly evaluation. If required, the regional press spokespersons or regional controllers each provide an Excel file with relevant DAK publications from advertising and weekly papers, which must be integrated. In addition, the contractor carries out a monthly evaluation of the goals of regional press work at the level of the 40 regional centers and 200 service centers.
