Provision of object and specialist planning services in accordance with HOAI 2021 with associated special services.

Enormous quantities of stockpile materials in the order of several million cubic meters from the surrounding former open-cast mine dumps are required to carry out contouring and final capping work at the Culmitzsch industrial tailings management facility (IAA). One of the sources of these materials is the Lokhalde, which is directly adjacent to the east of the Culmitzsch IAA. There is an obligation under licensing law for the Lokhalde to completely remove the stockpile material as part of the remediation of the Culmitzsch IAA.
As a result, it is necessary to rehabilitate the Lokhalden site and to ensure the subsequent use of this post-mining landscape as grassland, with the option of later using this land for a higher-value design in terms of nature conservation projects.
