Name of the project:Bavarian Center for Alpine Safety, 2nd construction phaseThe Mountain Rescue Foundation, as a non-profit foundation under civil law, is the owner of the plot of land No. 173 in the Gaißach district, where it owns, operates and maintains, together with Bergwacht Bayern (BWB), the Mountain Rescue Center for Safety and Training (BW-ZSA), which is a simulation and training hall from 2007 that was expanded into the Bavarian Helicopter Simulation Center in the years 2012-2016.The BW-ZSA is to be further developed into a "Bavarian Centre for Alpine Safety" in order to maintain the performance of volunteer mountain rescue services in Bavaria and to strengthen cooperation with all partners in mountain rescue and disaster control.In a second construction phase, an appropriate, professional and sustainable working environment must be created for training, training management, development and logistics in mountain rescue, as well as for disaster control operations.Building data:As of August 2024Gross floor area (GFA):Level 1 approx. 775 m²Level 2 approx. 931 m²Level 3 approx. 863 m²Total: approx. 2,569 m²Length approx. 72 mWidth approx. 15 mHeight approx. 12 mGross floor area (GFA): approx. 10,715 m³Exterior areas: approx. 5,296 m²
