Project manager for the urban redesign of Sterkrade railway station.
The City of Oberhausen, Department 5-6-10 Traffic Planning, Signalling, intends to award project management services for the handling, coordination and control of the measure "Conversion of Oberhausen-Sterkrade Railway Station" The above-mentioned construction measure is a construction phase of the overall measure "Emmerich-Oberhausen Extension Line" of Deutsche Bahn.The services to be rendered are project management services based on the service profile project management of the current AHO (AHO issue 9 2020) up to project stage 5.During the three-track extension of the railway line Oberhausen - Emmerich, railway crossing agreements must be concluded for all crossings of the railway line. For the passenger underpass at Sterkrade station, the planning of DB Netz AG envisaged a passenger underpass at right angles to the tracks, which would run parallel to the existing underpass. A competing planning procedure was carried out in 2015 to design this sensitive urban development area. The winning design envisages that the pedestrian underpass will not cross the line at right angles, but will take up the historic route from today's Bahnhofstrasse to Neumühler Strasse. Further elements of the competition design are a new design of the station entrances, the relocation of Neumühler Straße, the construction of a K+R car park and a P+R car park as well as a separate lighting concept. The existing pedestrian underpass will be completely dismantled by the Deutsche Bahn AG in the course of the construction activities and the construction of the new pedestrian underpass, as it partly runs in the location of the new underpass.
