Description

Implementation of national crew databases according to Directive (EU) 2017/2398 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications in inland waterway transport of 12 December 2017 based on a detailed technical specification provided by the participating contracting authorities.
Implementation of national crew databases according to Directive (EU) 2017/2398 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications in inland waterway transport of 12 December 2017 based on a detailed technical specification provided by the participating contracting authorities.Hosting and maintenance of these national crew databases shall be offered as an option.the national crew databases have to be transposed and implemented during 2021, as they have to be operational and connected to the European database by 17 January 2022 at the latest.the contracting authorities shall tender a framework agreement for 10 years. Contracts concluded on the basis of calls under this framework agreement may run for more than 10 years. From today's point of view, the contracting authorities via donau and the Slovakian Transport Authority will be parties to the framework agreement. However, the contracting parties to the Framework Agreement may change as follows:-) The Slovak Transport Authority has the right to withdraw its participation in the present tender until 30 November 2020. Should the Slovak Transport Authority exercise this right, the Slovak Transport Authority will not be a party to the Framework Agreement,-) The Ukrainian Transport Authority and the Serbian Transport Authority have the right to express their interest in joining the present tender procedure until the invitation to submit the final tender is sent. Should the Ukrainian Transport Authority and/or the Serbian Transport Authority exercise this right, they shall also become contracting parties to the Framework Agreement.
