Description

In a context of shortage and scarcity of pharmacists, the CISSS de Lanaudière wishes to retain the services of replacement pharmacists to support its existing team in pharmaceutical services activities, mainly at the distribution level, in particular by validating prescriptions and medication reconciliation in accordance with the procedures in effect at the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION, as well as to ensure the adjustment of oral anticoagulants (Coumadin®) for clients living in CHSLDs (long-term care centres) or according to the service offer in effect.
The services sought will have to support the service offer in place in order to free up the clinical pharmacists of the CISSS de Lanaudière to provide pharmaceutical care to the care units in order to ensure a minimum supply of pharmaceutical care and services.
The SERVICE PROVIDER, in addition to ensuring the validation of prescriptions, will have to comply with the therapeutic formulary in effect at the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION, the local regulation on the issuance and execution of prescriptions (REEO) and the prescription validation procedure in effect at the CISSS de Lanaudière.
The SERVICE PROVIDER must comply with the internal procedures of the pharmacy department and in accordance with the provisions of the Act respecting health services and social services and the regulations thereunder.
The SERVICE PROVIDER's pharmacist(s) will thus be placed under the authority of the head of the pharmacy department of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.
The CHDL uses GesphaRx® software including the technology for digitizing pharmaceutical prescriptions (NumeRx®).
LOT 1 - FACE-TO-FACE REPLACEMENT PHARMACIST :
The required services are required to meet the needs identified at the Centre Hospitalier de Lanaudière (CHDL) site located at 1000 boulevard Sainte-Anne in St-Charles-Borromée (Quebec).
LOT 2: TELEPHARMACY PHARMACIST
Telepharmacy services are required to fulfill the services expected for the CHDL site on behalf of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.
The SERVICE PROVIDER's pharmacist(s) must be able to communicate with prescribers, members of the CHDL pharmacy department and the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION's care units.
Note that for the day shifts, two pharmacists in attendance at the CHDL are assigned to validate prescriptions in addition to the telepharmacy SERVICE PROVIDER.
