Description

PROJECT SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Centre de services scolaires de la Pointe-de-l'Île (hereinafter referred to as the Public Agency) is issuing a public call for tenders for professional services in various specialties as part of the expansion project of École François-La Bernarde, located at 950 Pierre-Lacroix Street, Montréal Qc H1B 3C8.
The expansion consists of the addition of 12 classrooms and a gymnasium. The initial financing for this project is $15 million, including all related costs, fees and taxes.
The work will include the complete redevelopment of the school yard, the repair of the exterior siding and windows of the existing school, as well as the replacement of the interior finishes of the existing school. An additional $7.2 million will be added to the initial funding.
All work will be ongoing until the entire project is completed. The space for the expansion will have to be available for occupancy in time for the start of the 2023 school year. It is not excluded that work on the existing building may continue beyond that date.
The existing school will remain occupied throughout the construction period.
The selection of the successful contractors will be made following the recommendations of a selection committee, according to the evaluation criteria described in the contract documents.
All bidders must comply with the requirements contained in the contract documents. These can only be obtained through the electronic tendering system (SEAO) at www.seao.ca or by calling 514-856-6600 for residents of the Montréal area and toll-free 1-866-669-7326 for residents outside the Montréal area.
Caution: Please note that only the documents required by the Public Agency under the terms of this call for tenders must be submitted with the tender, so as to avoid any situation that would result in the tender being restrictive or conditional.
