Norway - Procurement of printed books and audio books in physical formats

Description

Trondheim kommune and Trøndelag fylkeskommune, herafter called the contracting authority, extend an invitation to an open tender competition in connection with entry into an agreement for the purchase of printed books and audio books in physical formats, to Trondheim folkebibliotek [Trondheim Public Library] and Trøndelag fylkesbibliotek [Trøndelag County Library].

Trondheim Public Library current consists of a main library and six district libraries. During the agreement period, Klæbu Public Library will be included in Trondheim kommune.

The agreement will cover the contracting authority’s requirements for the following:

- printed books for adults and children in Norwegian
- all genre printed books for adults and children in mainly Nordic languages and English
- audio books in physical formats for adults and children in Norwegian
- popular fiction and classic literature audio books in physical formats for adults and children in English, French, German and Spanish

In accordance with the Norwegian Publishers Association’s in 2-figured book groups, this assignment includes book groups 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9, and book groups 1.2, 8.1 and 8.6.
