Description

This RFPQ is an invitation by The Board of Education of School District No. 42 (Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows), the “District” to invite Respondents to submit Submissions for the prequalification of Contractors, for a period of up to three (3) years, to provide Snow Clearing Services on an as and when required basis.  The District has multiple sites, including 25 elementary schools, 6 secondary schools and 2 other district sites being the District Office and the District’s Maintenance facility; located within the communities of Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.The intent of this RFPQ is to prequalify up to six (6) Proponents to be placed on a prequalification list. District will notify successful prequalified Respondents in writing that they have advanced to the short list for any future price requests for Snow Clearing Services. The District will request pricing from the prequalified Proponents for the locations stated within this RFPQ.The Contractor’s role is to provide the necessary labour and equipment to clear snow from large areas of school district property including parking lots, driveways and sidewalks, as and when required by the District. The District’s own forces provide some snow clearing Services and perform sanding and salting functions for parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, stairs and pathways. Respondents should review the terms and conditions in Appendix B - General Services Agreement.
