The Town of Petrolia invites Bids for:MOBILE CONCESSION VEHICLE SERVICES “Food Truck” AT THE LOCATION OF 4301 PETROLIA LINE - SOUTH SIDE BRIDGEVIEW PARKPLEASE NOTE: THE TOWN OF PETROLIA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT ACCEPT THE HIGHEST OR ANY PROPOSAL. (this statement supersedes any conflicting verbiage that may appear throughout the document) Site LocationThe Mobile Concession Vehicle will be located at 4301 Petrolia Line-South Side, BRIDGEVIEW PARK Petrolia Ontario. The vehicle shall be parked with the serving window facing North, Northeast or Northwest, and stationed as close as possible to the hydro and water outlet located in the East end of the parking lot, defined in the gravel area within the yellow safety bars.If the town closes Bridgeview Park the concession vehicle may be temporarily relocated to 4065 Dufferin Ave. Petrolia ON, N0N 1R0, if available. Site DescriptionGravel parking lotGrass area to the south of the vehicleTown owned picnic tables and waste receptaclesPower Access: 2-20amp circuits, 4 plug insWater Access: 1 regular outdoor valveThe contractor is responsible for supplying their own CSA approved electrical cords and approved water hose or potable water container and all necessary hook ups.OTHERThe area will be used for a Mobile Concession Vehicle only and no building or such unit shall be "affixed" or erected. A lockable storage bin is acceptable.No portable cooking equipment is permitted outside the vehicle unless under special approval from the Town, Health Unit and Fire Department.No vending style machines shall be installed.No tobacco products or alcoholic beverages may be sold.No smoking, vaping or cannabis to be consumed within 20 meters of the vehicle. Bridgeview Park is smoke free.No overnight parking of the Mobile Concession Vehicle unless special approval is obtained from the Town. The Town will not be held responsible at any time for the Mobile Concession Vehicle.Styrofoam containers are not permitted.Signs are allowed to be placed on the vehicle as well as an approved menu style board that must stay within 5 feet of the serving window. All other signage must be approved by the Town under all applicable by-laws.Staff vehicles (if applicable) shall give way to customers and park a reasonable distance away from the Mobile Concession VehicleThe contractor will be responsible for keeping the area of the Mobile Concession Vehicle clean, tidy and free of any refuse left by customers.The contractor shall ensure that there is no refuse left behind on site at the end of each day.The Mobile Concession Vehicle must be in good condition and well maintained. The Town of Petrolia reserves the right to determine.The contractor may not sublet the site without advanced approval of the Town.The contractor shall enter into an agreement with the Town of Petrolia to operate a Mobile Concession Vehicle exclusively within the described location at Bridgeview Park. Bridgeview Park is owned by the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority and maintained and operated by the Town of Petrolia.The Mobile Concession Vehicle shall be inspected, certified, and passed approval of all regulatory authorities, including but not limited to, Lambton Public Health, Petrolia & North Enniskillen Fire Department, and TSSA, before being allowed to open. Failure to have all certifications in place could result in the termination of the contract.The Town of Petrolia shall:provide connection for hydro and water at  the site.Pay for the hydro and water used during the season.supply 2 trash receptacles within close proximity of the site (emptied as needed)
