Description
The Canadian Coast Guard requires services to maintain a Seasonal Aids to Navigation System on the Southern Lakes in Yukon Territory and British Columbia that includes thirty-seven (37) unlighted buoys and six (6) unlighted beacons. The buoys must be deployed in May right after the ice recedes and checked for correct position once a month until they are recovered and stored in October, shortly before freeze up. The beacons are left in place all year and are checked for correct operation once a month during the navigation season (typically May to October inclusive). In addition to these planned monthly checks; repairs and repositioning must be done as required.
While this solicitation is open to all bidders, the services sought for this procurement must be delivered in areas covered under the Kwanlin Dun Final Agreement and the Carcross/Tagish First Nation Final Agreement.
