Notice of Intent to Direct AwardIssued: September 20, 2024File # PHSA 14634NOI Title: Annual Maintenance and Support for Web FormImprint and FastPrint EnterpriseProvincial Health Services AuthorityNotice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through its agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Annual Maintenance and Support for Web FormImprint and FastPrint Enterprise for eleven (11) FHA Acute sites and two (2) FHA Long-Term Care Facilities for a term of one (1) year with option to extend an additional four (4) years at an estimated value of $472,447.89 USD plus applicable taxes.Interlace HealthSuite 208 - 13421 Manchester RdSaint Louis, MO. 63131In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Fraser Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.In order to keep the Web FormImprint and FastPrint Enterprise solution working continuously without disruptions and to maintain compatibility Fraser Health Authority will be paying the annual maintenance and support renewal fees to Interlace Health. These solutions are integral to the daily operations of the eleven (11) FHA Acute sites and two (2) FHA Long-Term Care Facilities. Given the specialized nature of these systems, they must be maintained by their original manufacturer or its representative to ensure ongoing functionality, security, and compliance with healthcare standards.Continuing with Interlace Health for maintenance and support guarantees that our systems will remain compatible with existing infrastructure and operational processes, avoiding potential disruptions and additional costs that could arise from attempting to integrate alternative solutions.
