Notice of Intent to Direct Award Issued: October 20, 2023File # PHSA 12916NOI Title: GE Centricity Perinatal Software ServicesProvincial Health Services AuthorityNotice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Centricity Perinatal Software Services. The term of the Contract will be three (3) years with an estimated aggregate value of $570,422.23 CDN (including taxes).General Electric Canada,operating as GE Healthcare2300 Meadowvale Blvd.,Mississauga, ON, L5N 5P9In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:The goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason(s): to ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative; The current version of GE’s Centricity Perinatal Software is utilized and integrated across existing clinical software application and throughout various perinatal departments within the Fraser Health Authority. As a result, the Health Authority requires the on-going support, replacement and/or Hardware updates and associated services to ensure continuity of these services for patient care. GE Healthcare is the sole supplier of this proprietary software platform and professional services which can only be provided by GE Healthcare. There are no alternative or substitutes.Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Morvarid Ghasemi by email to morvarid.ghasemi@phsa.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, November 3, 2023.
