Title: Phase 2, Test Cell # 1 modifications
Address: 335 River Road, Ottawa, Ontario
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project consists of making modifications and repairs to an existing ventilation and refrigeration system of a testing facility in Ottawa. Work includes but is not limited to:
- replacing piping and ductwork insulation inside and outside the building and other miscellaneous insulation works
- modifying sanitary piping
- modifying cooling system piping
- replacing failed air handling unit components
- testing, adjusting and balancing
- installing digital control components and modifying control sequences
- modifying and installing heat tracing systems
- modifying and installing electrical components and distribution
Work is to be completed within 26 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $100,001 to $500,000.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At contract award, the Bidder must hold a valid Reliability Status. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
1. There will be a site visit on July 7, 2022 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at 335 River Road (South).
2. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.
3. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (footwear, hard hat). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
4. Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must hold a security clearance of Reliability. The names of each individual attending the site visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they represent, must be provided to the Contracting Authority by July 4, 2022 at 10:00am in order to gain access to the site.
