Description
Tenders are invited for the implementation of an on-street parking meter system in the Caloundra area.
Council requires a fully integrated system including:
Pay by Plate parking meters,
Integration into mobile licence plate recognition technology (SenSen Networks),
Integration into mobile infringement system (TechnologyOne CiA),
Integration into current pay-by-phone system (EasyPark)
Integration into smart cities city data collection technology, through open-API integration.
The system is expected to be seamless and one that simplifies the management of parking and parking enforcement controls and allows passive data collection and analysis to improve decision making for parking and transport management.
It is Councils’ expectation that Functional Completion occurs by the 30 June or earlier, in line with Telstra’s scheduled termination of the 3G network and to facilitate a seamless transition to the new 5G network.
This contract is for an initial period commencing on the Contract Start Date and ending on the date that is three (3) years after commencement, with the option of two (2) further 12-month extensions.
