Panama - Panama - Integrated emergency management ICT platform

Description

A government entity has opened a tender for a 60 month contract for the renewal and maintenance of a single-system technological platform for 911 emergencies.

The tender involves renewal, maintenance and servicing of the:

- different technological components that make up the single-system platform for 911 emergencies management
- primary and the secondary control centres

A turn-key style contract is required due to the complexity of the unified emergency management system (Sistema Único de Manejo de Emergencias) or 'SUME 9-1-1' system.

The contractor is responsible for all requirements for hardware and software during the term of the contract described in the tender document request (TDR). This includes:

- guarantees
- support
- maintenance and parts
- increase in size of physical infrastructure due to required updates to applications and software

The contract must guarantee that all components of the technological platform are harmoniously integrated for its optimal functioning.

At the end of the contract 'SUME 9-1-1' will become the owner of everything included in the TDR or part of the technological platform. This includes all:

- hardware
- software licences
- software development
- intellectual and physical property related to the licences
- software source codes of developed for the project
- equipment
- applications and products

The reference value is £3,632,000.
