Description
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is represented at various regional and national trade fairs in the Federal Republic of Germany with its own exhibition stands. For the BMWi's future trade fair participations, a framework agreement is to be concluded with an external service provider (hereinafter referred to as the "framework agreement partner") on the overall coordination and implementation of trade fair participations for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.Trade fairs abroad and events are expressly not included in the subject matter of the framework agreement. The trade fairs that are the subject of the framework agreement take place exclusively in the Federal Republic of Germany. The BMWi has a separate framework agreement on the conception, organisation and implementation of events.Participation in a trade fair is primarily dependent on whether the BMWi is likely to be able to successfully present its core topics there. In this case, thematically relevant initiatives and funding programmes of the BMWi and projects and exhibits resulting from them are shown within the framework of a trade fair participation. Some trade fairs are usually set (e.g. the "Hannover Messe"), participation in other trade fairs varies. In principle, the BMWi therefore prepares a trade fair plan for the following year in spring, which also depends on the capacities that can be made available for participation by the BMWi.Depending on the character of the trade fair and the size of the BMWi's participation, the trade fair stand is either realised according to standardised specifications, usually with rented furniture, or in individual trade fair construction. Particularly in the case of leading trade fairs, such as the "Hannover Messe" or the ILA, it is important for the BMWi to have an individual and innovative trade fair presence, so that concepts are required here which show the special significance of the BMWi.The range of trade fair participations is different and variable. In the past, for example, the BMWi has had standardised trade fair stands of up to 15 sqm (career fairs), standardised trade fair stands of generally 10 sqm to 70 sqm (start-up fairs) and also individually built trade fair stands of between 70 and 750 sqm.The following list of average BMWi trade fair participations per year serves as a guide and is based on trade fair participations from previous years. The list is neither exhaustive nor do participations necessarily take place at most trade fairs every year.> Approximately 6 individually planned trade fairs, including the "Hannover Messe" (approx. 750 sqm) and the Internationale Handwerksmesse (approx. 100 sqm) on a regular basis, as well as TWENTY2X (approx. 100 sqm) if applicable;- > Up to 10 different start-up trade fairs, 2 of which are more than 50 sqm and one of which is more than 150 sqm; the others vary between 10 sqm and 20 sqm,- > Up to 8 career fairs for personnel recruitment, each approx. 10 sqm,- > Trade fairs held every 2 years:- International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) approx. 250 sqm and- SMM (leading trade fair for the maritime industry) approx. 50 sqm; and- > one to two energy trade fairs, e.g. E-World or Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue. In addition, individual participations in further trade fairs may be required. The framework contract partner will take over the complete planning, design and construction of individual or standardised trade fair stands, the implementation of hybrid and/or digital formats, if required, and the overall coordination of trade fair participations for the BMWi at the request of the BMWi.
