Canada - NSCAD Residence Solution Partner

Description

By means of this request for pre-qualification (RFPQ), NSCAD University (NSCAD) is seeking a partner to assist in the delivery of a superior student experience through an on/near campus student residence solution. Prospective proponents are to submit responses that demonstrate their ability to partner with NSCAD to be part of this ongoing solution.
- This solution generally includes the following and is further defined in Appendix D – RFPQ deliverables.
o The identified partner will design-build-finance-maintain-operate the development of a new student residence that could include other academic, retail, and other NSCAD related uses (potentially including but not be limited to student services, bookstore, meeting rooms, conference spaces).
o NSCAD has identified potential site(s) for this residence and the selected partner will work with NSCAD and the landowner to establish a relationship to support the requirements.
o The resulting building is intended for NSCAD use and occupancy at their sole discretion, in exchange for a for mutually agreed upon terms and conditions, such as a ground lease of NSCAD property or identified site.
- NSCAD is receiving procurement support from Interuniversity Services Inc. for this RFPQ This RFPQ will be managed by ISI on behalf of NSCAD throughout the process.
