Description

The State of Wisconsin (State), Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), Wisconsin Veterans Home at King (WVH-K), requests Bids for the purchase of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services.

Transportation is needed for members transferring from King, WI to medical facilities including, clinics and hospitals in Stevens Point (27 miles), Marshfield (58 miles), Oshkosh (33 miles), Appleton (24 miles), Neenah (31 miles), Waupaca (6 miles), Madison (58 miles), Milwaukee (102 miles), and any other places as deemed necessary by the staff at King.

In the month of December 2023, the current provider had two hundred sixty-seven (267) round trips. Of those trips, one hundred seventeen (117) were out of Waupaca County with destinations to Madison, Milwaukee, Neenah, Appleton, Stevens Point, and Oshkosh. In 2023 the monthly average number of trips was two hundred seventy-five (275), with an average of one hundred (100) of them being to locations outside of Waupaca County. These numbers do not include hospital returns that were scheduled by the hospital provider.

WDVA does not guarantee it will purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount. Bids that require a minimum quantity of commodities or services to be ordered will be rejected. There will be no guarantee to purchase any specific quantity or pay any minimum Contract cost during the term of the Contract.

WDVA intends to use the results of this process to award up to two (2) Contracts.
