Description

The aggregator must be able to identify and establish sustainable and competitive markets in the following value chains:

- plantain
- rice
- cassava
- yam
- maize
- cocoa
- tomatoes
- soybeans
- livestock including poultry, goats, aquaculture and piggeries
- forestry
- sustainable palm oil

The aim is to increase sustainable markets and allow small businesses to produce commercial quantities.

The chosen aggregator will receive:

- technical support from coordinators, government and agencies
- access to the state soil mapping project
- access to a site and facility within the state
- access to relevant government development finance institutions
- business to business matching with small holder farmers and producers within the state

Aggregators must:

- have innovative, clear and understandable ideas in the area of agribusiness and value chain development
- show experience in development as an aggregator and out-grower
