Procurement of firewall cluster incl. exchange l Implementation and service contract
The IT of the district of Upper Bavaria operates the IT infrastructure for the district of Upper Bavaria (BO) and the clinics of the district of Upper Bavaria (kbo). Both the district of Upper Bavaria and kbo have their own firewall cluster. All external locations of the respective company are connected to the firewall cluster of the data center of kbo and to the firewall cluster of the district of Upper Bavaria via static VPN connection. This provides a permanent connection to the respective data center and access to the necessary IT systems. The migration includes moving the rules and regulations, establishing the connection to the external sites from the central firewall clusters and optimizing the security standard on the basis of the newly acquired IT security functions. The deployment of Fortinet firewall components at the external sites and the replacement of the central firewall cluster in both data centers is intended to achieve uniform management of the firewall components.Overview of the agreed servicesI. Sale and delivery of hardware 4 pieces FortiGate-1800F plus 5-Year 24x7 incl. licenses (5-Year 24x7 FortiCare and 5-Year 24x7 FortiGuard Enterprise Protection*)II. Getting the system operational (installation, commissioning, configuration, migration and optimization of all related security features) Approximately 5 MT (man-days) of service are allocated per cluster, making a total of approximately 10 MT of service for commissioning, configuration, migration and optimizationThe commissioning of both FortiGate firewall clusters is done sequentially. It will be started with the firewall cluster "VRZ-kbo" and this will be put into full operation for one week before the migration in the data center district is started. This time interval is used to complete any rework and to use the findings during the migration for the firewall cluster in the RZ district. III. documentation: a full set of documentation for bringing about operational readiness (configuration, migration services and commissioning) shall be provided to the Customer after acceptance.IV. system service (e.g. maintenance and/or restoration of operational readiness) *the relevant Fortinet Enterprise Support Contracts shall also be attached to the offer in a valid version and shall become part of the contractFurther performance features:- Consolidation of the "grown" multi-vendor security environment - Uniform interface for firewall and security management - Central security monitoring and reporting across all sites - Integrated security platform for network, clients, cloud, IoT and site networking.
