Germany - Municipal waste recycling

Description

The recycling garbage can was introduced in the district of Friesland on 01.01.2020; this means that non-packaging of the same material is also collected with the lightweight packaging of the systems. According to the coordination agreement, it was agreed that the district has to bear the collection costs for 18 mass % of the recyclable material mixture and to take over and recycle this quantity share of the collected material. The subject of this tender is therefore the sorting and recycling of the municipal mass fraction.
The following services are part of the tender:- collection of the quantity equivalent of non-packaging of the same material from Nehlsen AWG and transport to the sorting plant,- sorting of the collected quantities,- prompt delivery of the sorted fractions for subsequent recycling (with the exception of liquid cartons),- provision of the liquid carton fraction (FKN) for collection (incl. loading),- disposal of the liquid carton fraction (FKN) for recycling (incl. loading),- disposal of the liquid carton fraction (FKN) for recycling (incl. loading). The contractor shall ensure that at least 50% of the mixture of recyclable materials is recovered by recycling; for more details, see the tender documents.
