Description

Mexico City Airport Group, the state- owned company in charge of the design, finance, construction and development of the New Mexico City International Airport (GACM), announced an international tender under the format of direct invitation (reference code: IA-009KDH999-E113-2016) for the update of the Airport’s master plan for years 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The format of this tender is by direct invitation to international companies under the Free Trade Agreement scheme. In other words, only companies from countries that possess an FTA with Mexico will be able to participate.

Amongst the main points highlighted in the project call are the following:

• The bidder must provide legal, technical and economic documents in their proposal.
• All proposal documents must be submitted in Spanish, and figures must be presented in Mexican Pesos (MXN).
• The bidder must provide a cost project proposal.

The calendar of activities for this tender will be as follows:

Deadline to submit clarification requests 21st September 2016
First clarification meeting 22nd September 2016
Submission and opening of proposals 29th September 2016
Winning bidder announced 13th October 2016
Contract signing 28th October 2016
Beginning of works 1st November 2016
