Delivery and maintenance of a CT for the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Hanau Hospital. The requirement is for a CT for the highest demands on primary diagnostics with the focus on general CT diagnostics and interventions. For all applications, the maxim is to achieve the highest possible dose savings by using all available technical possibilities, especially iterative reconstruction, but without sacrificing a high image reconstruction rate. Therefore, a minimum of 64 physical detector lines and a minimum of 128 reconstructed slices per 360° is required. Volume CT system for uncompromising clinical use with high requirements and maximum dose reduction for the patient. 700 mm minimum gantry opening and 500 mm minimum effective diagnostic field of view (FOV). Wide lowerable patient positioning table; scannable area approx. 195 cm (e.g. for polytrauma). Low-dose multidetector system with at least 64 detector lines. Wide volume coverage without lowering detail resolution, typically 0.5 mm reconstruction at a pitch of 1.5. Shortest rotation time = 0.4 sec / 360° Complete or largely model-based iterative reconstruction for significant dose reduction without compromising image quality. Generator power min. 75 kW nominal Acquisition and evaluation console for instant image reconstructions in "real time". Image data storage for approx. 100,000 images. Extensive software package for all issues coming from the departments of the hospital (see software requirements).
