Description
The Plurinational State of Bolivia, with financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under Loan Agreement No. 5376/OC-BO-2, is inviting bids for the acquisition, distribution, and installation of medical, non-medical laboratory, and industrial equipment nationwide.
This tender is part of the Support Program for Vulnerable Populations Affected by Coronavirus II and includes 14 lots covering:
• milk banks (cold, processing, bacteriology, sterilization, extraction, control equipment)
• molecular biology and diagnostic equipment
• blood services and telehealth systems
• intensive care units (ICUs), imaging, haemodialysis, and PAI equipment
The total reference amount is 40,326,505.68 US dollars (equivalent to Bolivian Bolivianos: 276,639,828.96). Delivery is expected within 120 calendar days. The award will be by lot, and no margin of preference will be granted to national contractors.
Procurement will follow International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures per IDB policy GN-2349-15 (July 2019), using the Most Advantageous Offer evaluation method. Bidders must meet technical, financial, legal, and other requirements specified in the tender documents.
